The need for new additions for Manchester United this summer is clear, falling below expectations demanded by the fanbase throughout 2024/25.
The Red Devils finished the year in just 15th place in the Premier League and then missed out on all forms of European football, resulting in significant economic losses.
Reuben Amorim’s side should be adopted well if it could set up a table during the offseason and push the place up again among the top four.
It’s likely that there will be a sale as the likes of Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho are two first-team talents promoted in their respective moves from Old Trafford.
The funds generated will go a long way in pursuing new talent for attacks. This is something that is desperately needed to reach the next level under the current management team supervised by Jason Wilcox.
This summer, the latest on United Hunt for United’s new talent
Bryan Mbeumo has been a player who has been firmly involved in United’s radar for the past few months, with Wilcox and CO making two separate offers to Brentford Star.
However, both sides are not close to agreeing to the price for this window at Cameroon International, raising questions about the 25-year-old star’s potential deal.
According to Argentina’s Outlet Canal 26, he is not the only star by the hierarchy, as Milton Delgado, Boca Junior’s midfield sensation Milton Delgado is another player.
They claim that the Red Devils are preparing an offer for a 20-year-old this week after winning 30 senior appearances in their last two campaigns.
It also said the offer is in the region of 11 million euros (£9.5 million). This states that if the levels produced by one of Europe’s major talents can be replicated, it could prove to be a potential bargain.
Why United’s latest target is Amorim’s answer to Bellingham
Jude Bellingham has been a constant player on United’s radar for the past few years, but missed his signature on every opportunity to land the youth.
The British even met with a high rise at the club during his time in Birmingham City, but decided to join Borussia Dortmund in 2020.
The Red Devils also tried to land the 21-year-old before their subsequent switch to Real Madrid.
He has registered 38 goals and 27 assists in 99 appearances for the Lariga Giants, and hopes that Amorim has the talent to use at his disposal at Old Trafford.
However, he was able to land his own version of the British this summer on Delgado’s contract. Because Argentina has similar qualities that allow them to split the play and control ownership, as seen in recent campaign statistics.
The young man, labelled “complete” by one of the South American journalists, was able to complete more passes he attempted, increasing the pass to the last third per 90.
He also thrived even without the ball at his feet, earning more tackles per 90 people and having more intercepts.

When regaining the ball, Delgado further demonstrates his talent, completing more take-ons than Bellingham last season, potentially making him the perfect deep midfielder for the Red Devils.
The 20-year-old may need to do much to match the levels produced by the Real Madrid star in Europe, but he has already demonstrated his ability to appear in important areas.
£9.5 million for his talent and potential players has proven to be a great pickup for the Wilcox and United class, and given his tender age there is also the opportunity to grow even further.
