  • Spurs stands firmly as Atletico continues to see Christian Romero.
  • Frank aims to build the Spurs side around Romero

Tottenham Hotspur has taken a strong stance against one Spurs player who is gaining new interest from the Lariga giants.

The Europa League winners have linked defensive reinforcements that Bernie’s Maxim Estev has been identified as one future target this summer.

But Thomas Frank may also be keeping in mind that he sees some of his current teams turning his eyes to clubs in Europe. In particular, it appears that one man is in the sight of a suitor overseas.

Spurs stands firmly as Atletico continues to see Christian Romero.

On Wednesday night, Sky Sports Reporter Michael Bridge issued an update on Christian Romero, who continues to be praised by Atletico Madrid, but the Spurs are extremely reluctant to lose their Europa League final hero.

The journalist outlined: “Christian Romero is the subject of Atletico Madrid’s long-term interest, but vice-captain Tottenham, the player in the Europa League final match, is considered a very important member on Thomas Frank’s side.

“It is understood that even clubs consider selling key players would need a big bid.”

Frank aims to build the Spurs side around Romero

With his famous victory over Manchester United in Bilbao, the Spurs will definitely not weaken their team by acquiring key players like Romero this summer.

Hailed as an “unbelievable” player by his defensive colleague Mickey Van des Ben, Argentina is a player who is trying to build a successful aspect of Frank in the N17, and the 27-year-old brings the club a kind of big game-winning mentality that has long been missing.

His final performance in the Europa League will be one of his age, and North Londoners will revolt when Daniel Levy sanctions the defender’s exit in this transfer window.

Atletico may be hoping to endure the idea that all players have his price and seduce Romero in the end to move to Madrid, along with the true prospect of strong Argentina at the Metropolitano challenging the league title.

Unless the Lariga Giants truly submit a mind blowing bid, the Spurs certainly won’t say goodbye to their important on-field leaders right after the biggest night in modern history.
