Swedish striker Victor Gjoker did not show up in preseason training with Sports Lisbon as he is trying to push for a move to Arsenal.
According to a report by Mais Futebol, the 27-year-old was not attending sports today.
This is a YouTube channel reporting that Gyoker wanted to leave the Portuguese club to travel to Arsenal on his YouTube channel.
Romano also revealed that Gyoker had no plans to return to the train in sports again or play for them again.
Apparently he’s now dead, Arsenal fans hope this means that the deal is being hit.
Viktor Gyoker is doing his best to force Arsenal’s move
Certainly, Gyoker seems to be doing his best to force the sport to get him to join Arsenal.
Records show that the former Coventry City man has also given up on some of his salary from the sport and apparently giving up to help him pay to get out of the club.
Gyokeres’ message could not be really clear. He wants to play sports. Arsenal appears to be his dream destination.
In another YouTube post, Romano also said that Gyoker has informed Manchester United that he likes to join Arsenal.
Arsenal rebuilds the offense
Like the new striker, we were able to see midfield signatures in multiple attacks for Arsenal this summer.
Gyoker will be tasked with finishing the chance, but it could be fed to him by Nuni Maduke and Eberechi Eze.
According to Ben Jacobs of the X-Post above, Arsenal’s move to sign Madueke from Chelsea is separate from Crystal Palace’s interest in Star Eze.
The Maduke provides covering on the right or left flank, allowing Mikel Arteta to rotate things like Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli a little more often.
Eze, on the other hand, can play in a left or more central role, perhaps giving the AFC something to replace Martin Odegaard after a slight DIP last season.
