After a great job by Andrea Berta, Viktor Gyokeres’ agreement as a principle
We are still waiting for the full agreement between Arsenal and Victor’s sports through Gyoker.
The principle contract has been introduced starting from the weekend after the breakthrough of Sunday’s meeting. The transaction framework is underway, but the ultimate sticking point appears to be about how the add-ons are met exactly.
Arsenal is sure the deal will be agreed, but I don’t want to put it in the time frame where it will take place.
It can happen anytime, and Arsenal is clearly eager to run through the door as quickly as possible to help him adjust.
Mikel Arteta and his team headed to Asia on Saturday to start the preseason tour, with Andrea Berta and the club pushing to win most of the club’s transfer goals by then.
We’ll have to wait whether the last few details of Gyoker’s deal can be ironed by then, but Arsenal certainly wants it, as you think.
If Arsenal gets this on the line, I think Berta will get a lot of credibility in the way he handled the negotiations.
The sport was not easy as it seemed to play hardball, of course. This is definitely their right, given how important players have to them over the past two years.
But Berta is patient and the deal he hits is good. For the striker with Gyoker’s recent record, it cannot actually be discussed at an initial fee of around £55 million.
Yes, there are questions in the Portuguese League. Whether he can bring in close to the level of his goalscore exploit in the Premier League and replicate the annoying thing, even so, is a good price for such a free striker in the current market.
Ultimately, the deal will be judged as to what Gyoker is doing for Arsenal, but now Berta continues to pass through his first transfer window with the club, so it looks like a great job for Berta.
The Christian Mosquera to Arsenal is fully agreed
There are still some details regarding the Gyokeres deal, but not the case with regard to Arsenal’s Cristhian Mosquera’s pursuit.
It is now a fully agreed movement between Arsenal and Valencia, with Mosquera already receiving his medical care in London and completing his medical care to complete the procedure to sign.
With everything going for plans, Mosquera was announced as an Arsenal player later in the week, and he is on a plane on Saturday on a preseason tour to Asia.
I’m really excited about this deal I have to say.
First of all, it looks like a very good money. Again, it appears to have been brilliantly negotiated by Andrea Berta.
Arsenal is paying less than the Mosquera release clause when the 21-year-old set falls under £15 million.
This is a very good price for a highly rated young defender who has been seen in some other good aspects of Europe.
But it’s not just the price that excites me about Mosquera, it’s the possibility.
I cannot pretend to be his expert, but the limited knowledge I gained from seeing him and talking to people who have seen him so many suggests that he is an exceptional talent.
He is a centre-back with his right foot, but he is extremely comfortable on both feet. That’s why there’s the versatility that Mikel Arteta is looking for in all of his players.
He’s big, athletic and good for the ball. He is also durable, as his availability records show over the past two seasons.
He has started 70 of Valencia’s 72 league games since joining the team in August 2023. Meanwhile, he recorded 6,394 minutes in Laliga, the highest in the 21-year-old or Europe’s top five leagues.
It’s really impressive and I think he will come next season and play a big role.
He is not going to leave before William Saliba, but he is still going to play a lot of football and his arrival finally gives Arteta a natural backup for the Frenchman who has been overused over the past three seasons.
Noni Maduke can prove that his suspect is wrong
I’m not the biggest fan of Noni Maduce’s move, mainly because it’s a bit of a hassle to see Arsenal consistently sign players to Chelsea players.
I know it’s not important, but to many people it does. Also, this price feels a bit high for players who are far from guaranteed starters, given that Bukayosaka is ahead of him in turn.
But there certainly is a real possibility, and we know that Arsenal is very pleased with the price they paid.
They are in good agreement with what other players on Madueke’s profile moved this summer, and they assert that in a few years people will see it as a great business.
Mikel Arteta has really pushed this deal, he believes Madueke can thrive in an environment like Arsenal and does not consider him a backup. He brings him in to play a lot of games, whether on the right or on the left.
The response to the relocation was particularly cruel online, so Madueke is under pressure as soon as he arrives. Given that Arsenal is moving for the striker and Ethan Nuwaneri is approaching signing a new deal, I think some of the more hostile reactions have been somewhat diminished.
Neither happened when Maduke News first broke, but I think it played a big role in many of the top reactions we first saw.
I know that Madueke really wants this move as well as his family. So it’s a bit sad that they have to worry about the anxiety of their fans when they should be really excited about being a big moment in his career.
But I’m sure he can deal with it, and Arsenal helps him through it.
And at the end of the day, when he plays on the pitch, he silences his doubts very quickly. He only looks at Aaron Ramsdale and Kai Herberts for evidence.
Eberechi Eze and Player Sale – What to Keep in mind in Arsenal’s Summer Transfer Window
So far, this has been a summer window focused on experience and signing here and now. However, this transaction is different. It’s something that looks to the future and I think it’s a great business.
As soon as the Gyoker, Noni Maduke and Mosquera deal close, Arsenal will switch to whether Arsenal can complete the window by adding an attack option on the left.
I know I’m interested in Eberechi Eze, but at this point, it’s my understanding that Mark Brus from Catched Offside was only done with representatives of England International, not Crystal Palace.
Rodrigo is another player on the club’s radar and the Brazilian future at Real Madrid is a huge number of players after lacking time to match at the Club World Cup.
Of the two, I would say that eze is easier to do from a purely financial perspective, but now they couldn’t say who the club was heading. It’s obvious at this point.
Both are interesting players, but I think it will be related to the finances involved. Arsenal has already spent a lot of money this summer, so they may now need to do a bit of work trying to balance the book a little before completing the final piece of the jigsaw from the team’s building perspective.
So I think Gyoker trio Maduke and Mosquera will turn their attention to trying to move a few players as they pass through the door.
With all the new arrivals, the team suddenly appears to be very bloated, and Andrea Berta is looking to find takers for players like Reiss Nelson, Sambi Lokonga, Fabio Vieira, and Oleksandr Zinchenko.
