Fabrizio Romano says a speech is still ongoing in London as Arsenal continues to seek to complete Lisbon striker Victor Gyoker’s transfer contract for the sport.
Last week or so, there was a lot of excitement about Gyoker about Arsenal’s gyoker to Saga, but fans had to endure the official Swedish international agreement.
Gyoker looked like the prolific striker the Gunners need, scoring a spectacular 97 goals in just 102 games in two seasons for the sport.
Still, Romano, speaking on his YouTube channel, says there are still some final details to resolve with the trading add-on…
Fabrizio Romano’s latest Viktor Gyoker is an Arsenal update
“I’ve been receiving a lot of questions from Viktor Gyoker’s Arsenal fans,” Romano said.
“Guys, the conversation is still underway in London, and the player’s agents are still in London to resolve the agreement between all involved parties.
He added: “Gyoker is fighting to go to Arsenal, but obviously agreeing to the add-on is really important.
“So, as soon as it’s agreed, I’ll let you know. But they’re still working on add-ons and when there was a report of the deal being made on Sunday, I’ll show you that it wasn’t done, it simply wasn’t done.
“They agreed to the first part of the fee, but they weren’t add-ons. They’re still working on London add-ons.”
Andrea Berta praised Viktor Gyokeres’ deal
I’ll talk Catch off side Yesterday, Arsenal expert Charles Watts praised manager Andrea Berta for his amazing job of reaching an agreement with the Gyokeres, in principle.
“I think if Arsenal passes this to the line, Berta will get a lot of credibility in the way they handled the negotiations,” Watts said.
“It wasn’t easy because sports are obviously trying to play hardball, which is absolutely their right, given how important players are to them over the past two years.
“Berta, however, is patient and the deal he hits is good. You can’t really discuss it with an initial fee of around £55 million for the striker with Gyoker’s recent record.”
