Leeds United are “targeting” a £17 million Lucas Peri alternative “open to travel” this summer.
Leeds goalkeeper chase gets hot
Daniel Fark and the 49ers company are set to replace Iranian Messlier this summer, and Lyon’s shot stopper Lucas Peri has been identified as Leeds’ number one target given the impressive performance of the Brazilian on the French side last season.
Despite the goalkeeper suggesting he needs to work on his death, journalist Luke Entwistle suggests that Peri could become a solid white signature given his ability to stop shots.
Entwistle said:He doesn’t always guarantee you, but most of the time he can get away with it, get the ball and advance the ball, but sometimes he can get a little hairy in that regard.
“He’s a Hollywood goalkeeper and likes Hollywood saves for the camera. He’s tall, he’s also ordered the box, but he’s a good shot stopper.”

Leeds are fighting in their hands to ensure one of the best targets in the summer transfer window.
However, if Fark is concerned about Lyon’s ability to own the goalkeeper’s ball, there are many alternative options on the list as Anges’ Jahia Fofana has recently been identified as another major target.
The Koiborian could be a low-cost addition to Fark’s team as Fofana could be available for just £8 million, but there could be competition for his signature as Manchester United was also previously appointed as a stakeholder.
According to X’s Vidal, the new goalkeeper’s target has also reached the Leeds shortlist, namely Senne Rammens in Royal Antwerp.
This summer, Runmen’s will be “open” and his club is “ready to sell”, so the move to Elland Road could be on the card, with white people looking at him as the No. 1 future.

Fark knows he can’t rely on Meslier and drops him in favour of Karl Darlow during the promotional run-in, but there are signs that Antwerp’s goalkeeper could become a more reliable option between the sticks.
The save rate per 90 for 23 years over the past year has been particularly impressive, ranking at the 98th percentile when compared to other goalkeepers, with a percentage of stops at the 99th percentile.
Football talent scout Jacek Kulig was also amazed by the shotstopper’s performance in the Belgian professional league last season, praised him as “simply incredible.”
While Runmen is the right age to achieve long-term success at Elland Road, the only concern is that he has not been proven in one of Europe’s major leagues at present.
