Aston Villa has agreed to a deal to sign Lask defender Modou Keba Cisse.
According to reports from Athleticthe 19-year-old defender will be loaned to Austria’s Bundesliga side for the next season. He will officially join the Premier League club next summer.
Modou Keba Cisse could become a future asset
Cisse is a talented young player with a bright future and could prove to be a wise long-term acquisition of Aston Villa.
The youngster needs regular game time to continue his development, so it’s no surprise that Villa chose to send him on loan shortly after signing him.
Aston Villas need deeper depth and quality, and Cisse could become a useful asset in the future.
The defender will aim to establish himself as Villa’s first team player when he joins next year. It will be interesting to see how he develops in regular football at Rusk over the next 12 months.

Aston Villa is trying to build for the future
The Villas are looking to build a team that can regularly compete in Europe. It remains to be seen whether they will be able to address their team’s current weaknesses this summer. There is no doubt that they have the best managers and talented group of players. However, there will be some smart additions to promote Champions League qualifications and compete domestically.
It is impressive how West Midlands Club is planning its future by signing up for a promising young talent. However, we also need to focus on introducing experienced players who can quickly improve and enable teams to perform at high levels next season.
