The Miami Dolphins’ offensive strategy heavily emphasizes speed. Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa benefits from having two of the fastest receivers in the league, Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, alongside running back De’von Achane, one of the swiftest backs in the NFL. Additionally, the Dolphins plan to expand the role of Jaylen Wright, a speedy running back they drafted from the University of Tennessee in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, who rushed for 249 yards as a rookie.

Though there were questions about how Wright was utilized during his rookie season, both he and Achane aim to form a powerful dual-threat backfield that could challenge defenses and potentially break the Dolphins’ long playoff win drought.
