Fabrizio Romano reports that Galatasaray has reached a complete agreement with Napoli regarding Victor Osimhen’s transfer.

The Nigerian striker will be acquired for a total fee of 750 million euros, consisting of an initial payment of 40 million euros, with the remaining 35 million euros to be paid over the next year. Additionally, a 10% profit-sharing clause will apply to future sales, and Galatasaray cannot transfer Osimhen to any Italian club for the next two years.

Osimhen had a stellar 2024/25 season with Galatasaray, scoring 37 goals and providing eight assists in 41 matches across all competitions. This impressive performance likely fueled their desire to secure him permanently, although interest from other major clubs like Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, and Manchester United remains strong, as reported by the media.

Nonetheless, it seems Galatasaray has successfully landed their target.

From Victor Osimhen to Galatasaray, we’re making progress! Club documentation will be finalized 24 hours after the verbal agreement.

Galatasaray will pay 40 million euros upfront, with 35 million euros due in a year, plus a 10% share on future profits and potential performance-based bonuses.

**Fan Take:** This transfer is significant because it not only elevates Galatasaray’s ambitions in the Turkish league but also shapes the competitive landscape of European soccer. With top clubs vying for talent, players like Osimhen becoming unavailable could shift focus to emerging stars, impacting the market and strategies of teams across Europe.
