Reports say Tottenham Hotspur is currently extremely enthusiastic about the “incredible” £50 million pre-signment, which is likened to Chelsea star Cole Palmer.

Spurs are focusing on new forwards amid his son’s uncertainty

Thomas Frank recently hinted that Tottenham must make a big decision about his son Heung Min’s future soon. “Now I have players who are completely committed, train well and play tomorrow. If a player has been with the club for a long time, of course there is always a decision the club will take.

“Because if someone wants to leave at a certain stage, there’s something. But of course, the club will always be the final decision.”

It doesn’t seem clear in the near future that his son is still part of Frank’s plan, but given the Koreans are now 33 years old, it makes sense to introduce a long-term alternative this summer.

Earlier this week it was revealed that the Spurs were in discussions with Brentford’s Joane Wissa. Brentford’s Joane Wissa could be a son-like alternative given he can play in the middle with the left field.

However, Whissa is not a winger interested in Lily White, and while reports from EFL analysis reveal Tottenham is extremely keen to sign Tyler Diving in Southampton, the deal is on the expensive side.

Despite suffering from relegation from the Premier League last season, the Saints are set to hold off at a £50 million fee.

Spurs have other options alongside England International.

Manchester United, West Ham United and Nottingham Forest have also been named potential suitors, and the 19-year-old may be seduced to stay in Southampton if he believes that promotion is possible.

“Incredible” diling likened to Palmer

The Saints haven’t had much fight last season, but the youngsters still can catch the eye, and Dion Dublin compared him to Chelsea’s star Palmer.

Dublin said: “Do you know what it is? I don’t want to put pressure on him, but he doesn’t play his game like Cole Palmer.

Reporter Alfie House was also impressed by the teenager’s display, describing him as “incredible” last November, indicating that the winger could have a real impact on the N17.

£50 million is a big fee for players who have not yet established themselves at the top level, but Diveri enjoys an impressive breakthrough season in the Premier League, and the move to North London could be hugely appealing with Champions League football being offered.
