Despite these additions, Perkins, speaking on ESPN’s NBA Today, joked that the Clippers have become the league’s “retirement home” due to their aging squad. The team’s roster is top-heavy with older players, including Kawhi Leonard, Bradley Beal, James Harden, Brook Lopez, and Chris Paul, all over 33, raising concerns about injury risks and player availability during the season.
