Liverpool has officially announced the Hugo Ekitique signature in a deal that could reach 95 million euros if a particular add-on is triggered.
The Reds confirmed the arrival of Ekitique on their official website this evening, but Fabrizio Romano revealed details on the construction of the package being paid to Aintrak Frankfurt.
The 23-year-old Frenchman looked like an exciting signature, and Liverpool gave him much needed upgrades as Darwin Nunes’ main centre forward.
There is no doubt that Liverpool fans will see Ekitique acting as quickly as possible, but will he prove the value of the money after such a big investment?
In response to the official announcement, Romano said of Ekitice’s fees, “Official: Hugo Ekitice joins Liverpool from Entracht Frankfurt on a six-year contract. A fixed fee of 80 million euros, a simple add-on of 10 million euros, a difficult add-on of 5 million euros as a package for French strikers.”

It’s safe to say Ekitique was sought after by many big clubs this summer, so the LFC has come well to win the race for his signature.
Catch off side Recently, Manchester United was informed of their interest in Ekichike, but Romano also said that the feeling at Entracht Frankfurt is that the Red Devils can try to rival Liverpool.
Christian Faulk also reported that he wanted Ekitike 100 million euros for Eintracht Frankfurt, so Liverpool has done well to lower that price a bit.
Back further, Romano also told us about Chelsea’s passion for Ekichike, but now it’s confirmed that he’ll line up at Anfield next season.
Ekitique replacing Nunes in Liverpool?
Nunes has been struggling with his time in Liverpool and is likely to appear this summer.
