Wissa is undergoing a transition to Newcastle, but the two clubs were unable to finalize the agreement.
According to reports from Daily Mail, they’ve shifted them now A warning to Chelsea striker Nicholas Jackson. Jackson also rides the Aston Villa radar.
Nicholas Jackson is linked to Chelsea exit
The player has linked his move away from Chelsea, and he was able to prove that it was a useful acquisition of Newcastle. They need more depth in the attacking units, and Jackson certainly helps them improve. Newcastle is overly dependent on Alexander Isaac for the attack.
Meanwhile, Swedish International has linked it to exits from the club this summer. If he leaves, Newcastle will need to invest in multiple strikers. They are also monitoring Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins.
It remains to be seen whether they can convince Chelsea to sell it this summer. They’ve already signed players like Joao Pedro and Liam Delap. Jackson may not be the regular starter for next season, and Chelsea may try to win cash.
Newcastle needs more quality
Newcastle has secured qualifying for the Champions League next season and needs quality players to do well in the Premier League and Europe. Adding more depth to the sides is a top priority for them.
Meanwhile, Jackson aims to play regularly next season, and Chelsea may not be able to offer him the opportunity. It might be ideal to leave the blues. It remains to be seen whether he is ready to join Newcastle in the coming weeks.
Jackson has scored 24 Premier League goals in the past two seasons against Chelsea. He’s not a prolific scorer, but he’s a very useful player to help Newcastle improve.
