The Glasgow Rangers have improved their play team behind the scenes with much work behind the scenes before the summer transfer window slam closes in early September.
Kevin Thelwell, Russell Martin and 49ers have already brought in Djeidi Gassama, Thelo Aasgaard, Joe Rothwell and others, working hard to add more quality to the group.
However, the Scottish premiership giant is looking for more, especially in the wider region. The Rangers reportedly signed Eagles star Oliver Ant-Man and Crystal Palace winger Jesslung Lak Sakiy.
They both played on the right field and were able to arrive to arrive to each other for the Martin side’s starting spot in the 2025/26 campaign, but GERS is seeing the addition of the left flank.
Sky Sports Reporter Michael Bridge claims that Tottenham Hotspur winger Mikey Moore is trapped in loan movements throughout the season after he refused an offer from the UK Championship team.
Why Mikey Moore is an exciting signature
The 17-year-old winger could be an exciting addition to his team as he is a fantastic young talent capable of using this potential loan move to explode at the first team level.
Moore has already played 21 senior matches for the Spurs, despite not turning 18 until next month, but he has yet to get the chance to start the game regularly.
England U19 International introduced his potential in the Europa League, but with one goal and one assist, the club got off to three starts to win the competition.
As shown in the clip above, Moore is the attacker on the left side of the electricity, a joy to watch with the ability to weave defenders into carrying the ball into dangerous areas.
His form of Tottenham and Britain at the youth level suggests that he could emerge as an incredibly productive advancement in terms of goals and support.

Statistics through the Transfer Market |
As you can see in the table above, teenage Hoys can regularly provide rangers with goals and assists if he can ultimately hit the path at the senior level. So he’s an exciting possibility to sign the club.
However, the Scottish giants are also reportedly watching another defender come and strengthen their team, and he could be even better signing than Moore.
Rangers seeking towering defender movement
According to journalist Mark Hendry, on his Sackak page, the Rangers are “considering” a dive this summer to sign Volundam Central Defender Xavierm Biyamba.
Reporters claim that Light Blues is interested in Dutch people through the summer transfer window, returning to Fabrizio Romano’s report on their interest earlier this year.
However, Hendry adds that the 23-year-old centre-back “hopes to” move to Ibrox before the windows close.
The journalist explains that as Robin Propper returns to FC Twente, it appears that both Ben Davis and Clinton Nuciara are heading towards the exit door, the Ranger may need to return to another central defender market.
If Light Blues makes a dive in Mbuyamba and decides to add him to the team in the coming weeks, the 6-foot-5 Colossus could be even better signing than Moore.
Why Mbuyamba will be a better signature than Moore
As mentioned before, Moore is certainly an exciting addition to the team.
The reality is that the teenage forward scored one senior goal and provided two assists in his previous career. This means that rangers are not sure he will become an effective player on a regular basis.
Moore will also be taking on straight loans that do not include options to make the transaction permanent. Light Blues is impressed by the loan before leaving, including Malik Tillman, Abdallah Sima, Vaclav Cerny, and others, as GERS can’t sign forever.
However, Mbuyamba will take part in a permanent transaction and become part of Ibrox’s long-term strategy. This means that you can provide value over the years, but it could also benefit future clubs.
His 23-year-old Orandum form in his last two full seasons suggests he can have an immediate impact on the pitch, except for the 2023/24 season, where he missed 26 games due to heart problems.

As you can see in the table above, Mbuyamba provided a major threat from the set pieces in both of these campaigns, but the ranger centre-back, who managed two or more league goals last season, also dominated the opposition attackers in a physical duel.
Volundham also clearly missed his defensive presence in the 2023/24 campaign when he missed out on his majority with mental issues.
The talented Jacek Kulig, once called “complete” and “dominant”, has returned to help him win the second division last season.
This further shows why he’s even better signing the Rangers than Moore, as the Dutch Titan has already proven himself at the advanced level of the Netherlands and could hit the ground running at Ibrox.

The Rangers are reportedly in discussions with Oliver Ant-Man to sign the incredible star.
Mbuyamba seems likely to have an immediate impact with the Rangers than Moore given his first team’s football exposure and success on the pitch, while offering the club more value in the long run, not as a straight loan, rather than as a permanent signature.
