On the eve of the MLB trade deadline, a significant transaction is underway. The Philadelphia Phillies have agreed to acquire star reliever Joan Duran from the Minnesota Twins, as reported by Ken Rosenthal on Wednesday evening.

This season, Duran boasts a 2.01 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, and has struck out 53 batters over 49.1 innings. He has successfully closed 16 of 18 save opportunities. Over his career since 2022, Duran has maintained a 2.47 ERA and converted 74 out of 83 save chances.
