Arsenal is unrecognizable from the scattered and wandering outfits Mikel Arteta had over five years ago.
The Spaniards failed to win silverware in five full seasons with FA Cups in bags after replacing UNAI Emery midway through 2019/20, but Gunner is now one of Europe’s elite units.
Along with poster boy Bukayo Saka, Arsenal became a force to consider. And while things like Victor Gyoker and Martin Zubimendi become club transfer visions, Hale End Academy is still strong as ever. Saka will prove that.
However, the rise in meteors has led to increased interest in products. Arsenal has the most talented footballers in the business, and Real Madrid has begun to sniff out what they are.
Real Madrid wants Arsenal talent
It wasn’t a week later that Real Madrid’s interest in Arsenal star centre back William Saliba, who has helped create one of Europe’s finest defensive capabilities over the past few years, was revealed.
But the 23-year-old Frenchman is not the only one on the Los Blancos radar. Certainly, Saka is also reported to be on the radar of the Laliga giants in 2025, but Arsenal and Arteta must be concerned based on revelations about even greater talent.
Is that possible?
Well, Max Dowman is off to an incredible start to his professional life with the Gunners preseason tour.
According to a Spanish report, the 15-year-old genius has recently impressed a Madrid scout.
As Douman could become a generational player, we hope that relevant parties will come together and agree that his future is best served in North London.
Why Max Dowman is a greater talent than Bukayosaka
Douman was featured in Saka’s place (a portrayal of what should come?) as Arsenal defeated AC Milan 1-0 earlier this month, and Arteta could only be surprised by the advanced stage of the youth’s “special” introduction.
It’s important not to over-inflate the up-and-coming outlook just because they just cut their teeth, but there’s little doubt that Douman is cut more than the others.
With an offensive midfielder with fleet legs, one very young and incredibly confident, Arteta feels he’s likely to pass on his senior debut at some point in the 2025/26 campaign.
Given the noise already surrounding him, there’s all the possibility that Arsenal has even greater talent than Saka. If his progress in the coming years were cleverly managed, Arteta could have had one of the game’s most dangerous players in his mix.
Saka started out as a relatively unknown, but he is now a beater from around the world. The Three Lions superstar made his 19-year-old Premier League debut in January 2019, winning 4-1 at Fulham. It appears that Douman will celebrate his compatriot records and then some. Certainly, look forward to your Premier League debut this season.

Statistics through the Transfer Market |
Douman may not have made Arsenal’s (competitive) senior debut yet, but wouldn’t that be added to the fanfare?
This is a teenager playing himself with a swagger and style that looks like Madrid is eager to get his signature before he paints his first professional deal with the Emirates.
We hope that Arteta and technical director Andrea Berta have the wisdom about them, ensuring Douman will remain at Arsenal for years to come.
He is a real deal and in fact he may prove to be even greater talent than Saka.
