Liverpool has announced that Florian Wirtz will don the No. 7 jersey for the upcoming season, following Luis Diaz’s transfer to Bayern Munich.
Diaz made his move to Germany earlier this week in a deal worth £65.5 million ($86 million). Wirtz will take over the number previously worn by the Colombian after his own transfer from Bayer Leverkusen for £100 million in June.

Milos Kerkez, who joined Bournemouth earlier in the summer, is wearing No. 6, while Jeremy Fripon opted for No. 30, the same number he had at his former club, Lebaxen.
Striker Hugo Ekitike, who transferred from Eintracht Frankfurt last week, will wear the number 22. For goalkeepers, Giorgi Mardashvili is assigned No. 25, Freddie Woodman No. 28, and Arminpexi No. 41.
Additionally, defender Connor Bradley has changed his jersey from No. 84 to No. 12, and midfielder Trey Gioni from No. 98 to No. 42.
