Manchester United reportedly has made its announcement to RB Leipzig that it plans to bid on Slovenian striker Benjamin Sesco.
According to Fabrizio Romano in the X post, Leipzig is informed of Mann Wood’s plans for Sesco, who also has an offer from Newcastle United.
It is still unclear whether the Red Devils will be able to ensure they can see the competition for Sesco’s signature, as Newcastle has the advantage of being able to offer Champions League football next season.
Still, Romano explains in the following post that the 22-year-old forward will choose between United and Newcastle in the coming days…
Romano said: “Manchester United have informed RB Leipzig about their plans to bid for Sesco, and to show evidence that he is now a top priority as a new striker, Sesco will decide on Manchester United and Newcastle’s proposals at the table the following day.”
Manchester United need a striker like Benjamin Sesco
Sesko looks like the top young talent capable of strengthening this United side after last year’s Dismal Campaign.
Reuben Amorim has had major problems with his attacks and has already worked to solve these problems this summer by introducing Mateus Kuña and Brian Mbeumo.
But so far, centre forwards are also needed as Rasmus Hozilund and Joshua Zirksey haven’t seen enough at Old Trafford.
Should Sesko choose Man UTD or Newcastle?
United may need Sesco, but he may be better off than picking them at the moment.
It could take a long time for MUFC to return to where they want, and Newcastle definitely looks more impressive for now.
Eddie Howe has built a top team at St James Park and they probably look much more likely to make another appearance in the Champions League next season than United.
Sesko also needs to know how many careers he has seen at United these days. Players like Jadon Sancho and Antony appear to be top talent before joining, but can lose their way and ruin their careers.
