What is the playoff format for the 2025 Women’s British Open?
R&A uses sudden deaths in the playoffs at the open of women. If two or more players are tied down after the 72-hole restrictions, play as many holes as you need until there is only one player with a score better than anyone else. This is different from the open championship playoff format. In this format, a man plays a 3-hole comprehensive before he transitions to sudden death.
