Colin Morakawa is partnering with Caddy Billy Foster of the Scotland Open and the British Open after shake-up

Morikawa Colin has settled on a new caddy for at least the next two weeks.

Morikawa is collaborating with longtime caddy Billy Foster at Royal Portrush at this week’s Genesis Scottish Open and next week’s British Open, according to Ben Parsons of Bunkered.com. Foster marks the fourth caddy that Morikawa collaborated with this season after breaking up with longtime partner JJ Jakovac in April.

Foster has worked with many big names in the golf world throughout his career, including Cebu Ballesteros, Darren Clark and Thomas Bjorn. He recently worked with Matt Fitzpatrick, and when Fitzpatrick won the US Open in Massachusetts in 2022, he was in his bag with him.

Morikawa and Yakobak worked together back to the beginning of Morikawa’s professional careers, but the duo split in April. Since then, Morikawa has bounced quite a bit. He worked with Joe Greiner. Joe Grayner split up with Max Homa for several events and took him to Caddy for him at Rocket Classic last month.

Morikawa said the split with Grayner was friendly, but he admitted that the two were “a bit on another page” – he ended up in a tense exchange with the Rocket Classic reporter over the change in Caddy. It marked only his latest such interaction with reporters this season.

Morita will be taking part in the official World Golf Rankings this week in the fifth place tournament at Renaissance Club. The two-time major winners won the PGA Tour six times at the 2023 Zozo Championship. He has four top-10 finishes this season and a T8 finish in the Rocket Classic in Detroit last month.
