Leicester City was able to win the Premier League title during the 2015/16 season, and former Premier League referee Mark Krattenberg revealed that he may have handed a positive decision to Fox that year.

In an interview with The Mirror, Clattenburg revealed that he warned only two Leicester City players throughout the campaign as they were good guys. He also admitted that Leicester City players probably escaped without reservations or pauses due to subtle margins.

He said (h/t foxesofleicester): “The Leicester boys found a really good crack, so they only warned two Leicester players throughout the season, and they were good people, so they probably got away a bit for the margins.

Such a revelation certainly can cause controversy and harm the campaign of the fox fairy tale. While there is no doubt they were the best team in the division that year, these claims from former Premier League referees could undermine their efforts and efforts.

Meanwhile, former Leicester City defender Danny Simpson also decided not to send out some of his players that season as he claims Krattenberg admitted he wanted to beat Leicester City.

Simpson said: “I remember Krattenberg, my mate. I think he should have sent someone out. He said, “I should have sent you there, but I want you to win it… I think it was booze.

Leicester City had a talented team at the time, and they deserved a Premier League title. However, comments from Kratenburg would not work well with other English clubs that competed with the fox at the time.
