The US Open is once again shattering the record for the biggest prize pool in tennis history. The 2025 edition of the tournament earned a total of $90 million, up 20% from the 2024 tournament’s $75 million pool.

The $90 million figure opens the US ahead of the prize pools for the other three Grand Slam events.

The single winner will take home $5 million, and earn $1 million when they win a doubles team.

Last year’s single winners Jannik Sinner and Aryna Sabalenka won $3.6 million for the victory.

The US opening will begin on August 19th with a mixed double stomping tournament. This year’s format achieved USTA’s goal of bringing together top single players and playing mixed doubles.
