The US Open is once again shattering the record for the biggest prize pool in tennis history. The 2025 edition of the tournament earned a total of $90 million, up 20% from the 2024 tournament’s $75 million pool.

The $90 million figure opens the US ahead of the prize pools for the other three Grand Slam events.

The single winner will take home $5 million, and earn $1 million when they win a doubles team.

Last year’s single winners Jannik Sinner and Aryna Sabalenka won $3.6 million for the victory.

The US opening will begin on August 19th with a mixed double stomping tournament. This year’s format achieved USTA’s goal of bringing together top single players and playing mixed doubles. Currently, 14 teams have been confirmed on the field. Like the male and female doubles prize pool, the mixed doubles winning team earns $1 million.
