  • Why Liverpool wants to sign Rodrigo

Surprisingly, Liverpool’s incredible summer spending has yet to leave Arne Slot’s team in full air.

Virgil van Dik’s central defense is particularly light. In particular, Joe Gomez suffered minor injuries to Achilles after selling Jarrell Quansa to Bayer Lebaxen for £35 million.

Next, turn your head towards the forefront. Incredible additions of rising superstars like Florian Wirtz and Hugo Ekitike suggest that Liverpool has one of the deadliest frontlines in the game (if not already).

However, Luis Diaz set out for Bayern Munich last month, and now Darwin Nunes is about to complete his permanent transfer to Al Giral in the Saudi Arabian Professional League.

With both Federico Chiesa and Harvey Elliott off, it’s not desirable for Liverpool to add another attacker to the mix, but it appears that FSG has one or two showstop names in mind.

Liverpool is chasing another forward

The target for the transfer in my dream is, of course, Alexander Isaac. You may have heard that Liverpool is interested in signing a Newcastle United striker, but it is rumoured to be pretty keen on his journey to Anfield as well.

Unfortunately, Newcastle’s transfer market is pathetic, and Eddie Howe definitely feels hot under the collar. Several top targets have been overlooked at Tyneside and Benjamin Sesko wants to sign Manchester United, so Isak’s sale isn’t that sure for a reliable exchange. Must do Please sign him, otherwise he will not leave.

Last month’s first £69 million signature on Hugo Ekitike softened the need for Liverpool’s Premier League superstars, but it’s still a stunning signature.

However, sports director Richard Hughes is a deep noose guy and he doesn’t put all his eggs in one basket. Liverpool has emerged as a candidate for Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola, but it is difficult to complete his summer contract.

If neither movement is possible, another option is awaited for the wing that is best suited for the slot system.

Liverpool in for barcola upgrade

According to L’Equipe, Liverpool is in a race to sign Real Madrid winger Rodrigo.

Rodrigo, 24, was expected to leave the Santiago Bernabeu this summer.

Liverpool’s interest in Barcola may have just been made public, but there is also practically their admiration for Rodrigo, with the suspected South American price tag reportedly falling into the £78 million region.

Why Liverpool wants to sign Rodrigo

Rodrigo fired last season for a performance with the Los Blancos. This is his level. This is an expectation for Real Madrid.

His 25-goal contribution returns coincides with Liverpool’s Diaz and Cody Gakupo’s returns, indicating that the caliber of the forward slot will likely be added to his rank.

And given him likely to play as a left-handed advance, the rare experience at Real Madrid, a recent rare experience at Real Madrid, where Rodrigo is a desire to move to Anfield if he wants to move to Anfield, as he notched six goals and six assists from six games as a left winger last year.

The selfless Real Madrid superstar has been out of position for most of the recent season, but he is still impressive, with former teammate Luca Modric claiming he is one of the club’s “world class superstars.”

When matching his seasonal data with Barcola, you will probably see that his underlying quality suggests that he will rise to a higher level than he can.

There cannot be denied that Barcola enjoys a better season, earning a square in PSG and 42 goal contributions in all competitions.

But digging deeper reveals that Rodrigo is a great player on both sides, and that Liverpool has to push, considering that both will fall into similar financial stadiums.

For example, the French winger is considered a silky high-speed dribbler, but he averaged only one dribbler per match in League One last year, more concerned with a success rate of just 27% according to his sofa score.

In fact, FBREF also recorded rankings in the bottom 4% of midfielders and wingers during offensive across Europe last season, highlighting the amount of failed efforts to advance the ball.

A successful take-on is recorded when the player defeats the opponent while bringing the ball directly into the possession.

That’s not to deny his quality. Barcola ended up playing an instrumental role in the campaign to win the Champions League. But Rodrigo knows his path to European elite competition, two-time champions, and the power to be considered at the end of business.

Plus, Barcola hasn’t polished his shooting boots yet. He scored 17 goals in PSG’s League 1 and Champions League campaigns, but he also missed a whopping 33 big chances.

Conversely, Rodrigo only missed three big opportunities, but he was only online 11 times in a disappointing season. Still, it makes a strong comment on his prolific abilities.

When he’s in the A-game, Brazil International “can’t stop,” says Madrid columnist Kiyan Sobhani.

Ultimately, the fact that Liverpool fans are flashyly pondering Barcola and Rodrigo as potential alternatives to Isaac shows they have already signed with Wirtz, Ekitike, Jeremy Fripon, Milos Kerkez and Giorgi Mamardashvili.

The Premier League champion is the most envious position, but if given a bundle of picks, Hughes might want to move past Barcola and into Rodrigo.
