  • Spurs could use Koby Mynou
  • Manchester City and Napoli eye Mainu

According to TEAMtalk, Tottenham and Manchester City are interested in signing Manchester United midfielder Koby Mainu when the transfer window reopens in January.

The 20-year-old is struggling to get regular minutes and needs to leave Manchester United. He’s going to want to play every week. He is a promising young player who will not be able to develop by sitting on Manchester United’s bench.

Tottenham, on the other hand, need more quality in the center of the park. They need a player who can control the tempo of the game from deep and add composure to the flanks. Mainu might be the ideal player for them.

In the future, he could form a strong partnership with Lukas Bergvall and Papu Matar Sarr. They are trying to build a team for the future and signing a 20-year-old would be a masterpiece. Mainu has proven his quality in the Premier League in the past and there is no doubt that he has the potential to develop into a key player for Tottenham.

It will be interesting to see if they can make the most of this opportunity and secure his signature.

Meanwhile, Manchester City are also monitoring the situation closely. They need more depth in the middle of the park and the 20-year-old could be a very useful acquisition. However, it seems unlikely that Manchester United would agree to sell the player to a rival.

European clubs such as Napoli have also shown interest in the player. Whether they can complete the deal remains to be seen. The player hopes to secure his departure in January in order to play more often and secure a place in England’s World Cup squad. The report also claims that Manchester United will only allow him to leave if they can provide a suitable replacement. It will be interesting to see how the situation develops.

We recently covered a report claiming that Mainu is keen on a move to Real Madrid.
