2025 Fedex St. Jude Championship Purse, prize money: Payment from the $20 million pool when the FedEx Cup playoffs begin

The regular season of the PGA Tour may end, but a big payday has appeared in the postseason starting this weekend at the 2025 FedEx St. Jude Championship. With a $20 million wallet flashing, rewarding the final winner at TPC Southwind this week with a $3.6 million check, the St. Jude Championship praises a prize similar to the PGA Tour signing event.

Unlike in 2024, when Scottie Scheffler cashed out half of these salaries, eight different players walked into the winner’s circle at the 2025 signature event. He started with Matsuyama Hideki in the first week of the season and finished with Keegan Bradley in June.

The eight winners from the 2025 Signature Event are:

  • Sentry: Hideki Matsuyama ($3.6 million)
  • Pebble Beach Pro Am: Rory McIlroy ($3.6 million)
  • Genesis Invitational: LudvigÅberg ($4 million)
  • Arnold Palmer Invitational: Russell Henry ($4 million)
  • RBC Heritage: Justin Thomas ($3.6 million)
  • Truist Championship: Sepp Straka ($3.6 million)
  • Memorial Tournament: Scotty Schaeffler ($4 million)
  • Travelers Championship: Keegan Bradley ($3.6 million)

The Memphis winner is not the only player who will be brilliantly rewarded for his play, as those in the top 11 will find more than $500,000 in his back account once the week is over. Everyone in the top 23 earns over $200,000, but even the last player who finishes collects shade over $40,000.

Even outside of the cashed checks on Sunday evening, all 2026 signature events will be of high quality, as the top 50 players in the FedEx Cup standings at the end of their play in Memphis move to next week’s BMW Championship and another important wallet and chance to advance to the Tour Championship Final. In other words, how these players end in TPC Southwind may be far more valuable than the single person who found a bank account early next week.
