Sam Greenwood has linked his move away from Leeds United during the summer transfer.
The midfielder doesn’t appear to have a future on Elland Road and links with multiple clubs. The newly promoted Premier League side has yet to confirm his situation.

Players like Joe Gelhardt, Charlie Crew and Mateo Joseph have loaned out and left to gain first-team experience, but Greenwood is training on his own. Leeds may prefer to sell him forever rather than risk losing him for free next summer, as he only has one year left on the contract.
Sam Greenwood needs to go ahead
Greenwood is a talented player with a bright future, but he needs regular football to grow. Leeds cannot provide him with the opportunity, making separation beneficial for both parties.
According to footage shared on Instagram, players are not currently part of Leeds’ preseason preparations (H/T Leeds on full scale). It is believed that some clubs are keeping an eye on him, and it will be interesting to see if the offer will arrive within the next few days. Greenwood becomes keen to quickly resolve his future and focus on his football again.
Greenwood needs game time
There’s no doubt he has a lot of football left for him, and he managed to shine with the right club. Leeds is unable to give him the opportunity he needs, and this is a time when he deserves to get his career back on track with a fresh start.
Meanwhile, Leeds has secured promotion to the Premier League and needs better and better quality players. Ideally, they bring in assets that can help them get rid of fringe players quickly and get better on top flights.
