  • Frank issues a “key message” after eze snub
  • Tottenham discusses to sign Kang Yin Lee

After missing out on Ebebeki Eze in the most frustrating way possible, Tottenham Hotspur reportedly went into discussion to sign Thomas Frank’s Champions League-winning alternative.

Frank issues a “key message” after eze snub

Earlier this summer, Morgan Gibbs White appeared destined to become a Tottenham player after Nottingham Forest caused an unexpected release clause just to intervene and protect Star Man. As a result, Lily White shifted her focus to Eze at Crystal Palace and appeared to be jumping before Arsenal.

Unfortunately, as they were approaching an agreement, the Spurs missed the second biggest target of the summer, this time in the most frustrating way when Arsenal swooped.

Losing Gibbs White was a blow, but losing Eze to his North London rival after doing everything to secure his signature would have made Spurs fans uncomfortable. However, Frank chose to remain positive and repeated his stance of wanting to sign players who want to play on his side.

“There are a lot of links and they continue to exist. We don’t want players who don’t want to come to the club to be very common. If they don’t want to come here and wear this amazing badge, we don’t want them here.

“It’s very clear and I think the fans feel exactly the same. That’s an important message.”

Frustrated or not, Daniel Levy and the Spurs will have to go back to the transfer market. Following James Madison’s long injury, Lily White will undoubtedly need No. 10 to fill the role of England International.

To that end, names such as Como’s NicoPas have already been mentioned, and are Champions League winners who were still able to arrive from PSG.

Tottenham discusses to sign Kang Yin Lee

As reported in football remittances, Tottenham has had discussions to sign Paris Saint-Germain’s Can-Le Lee on a transaction worth around 50 million euros (£43 million) this month.

The Korean winger recently showed Tottenham fans exactly what they’re getting after winning an impressive effort to get PSG back into the game before overcoming Frank’s side with a penalty to win the Super Cup.

Additionally, Lee has already been approved by the son of countryman and former Tottenham captain Heung Min, who told reporters in 2023. “Kang Yin Lee’s talent is incredible. I think he can grow even further. We have to help him not put too much pressure on him.”

Given that the winger is likely to lose to the likes of Ousmane Dembélé and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia for their starting point in PSG, Tottenham has the perfect opportunity to swoop in the transfer window and offer a delayed major role.
