Nottingham Forest may be looking for a new manager soon, and there are strong rumors that Nuno Espirito Santo could be fired. The Portuguese reportedly clashed with owner Evangelos Marinakis over the club’s transfer business this summer, which could lead to him losing his job.
Given the work from last season, if Nuno leaves, it would be a huge shock. Anyone who replaces him could do a lot to date and it seemed like an early candidate was appearing.
Brendan Rogers was able to take over at Nottingham Forest
According to a soccer insider, Mick Brown revealed that Forest could take Brendan Rogers and replace Nuno.
“There’s still a chance that Rogers could leave, and there was talk that if that appeared, he could consider the work of Nottingham Forest.
“It seems he’s always on his eyes to a potential return to the Premier League. He doesn’t think he’s happy with the support the board has given him in the transfer market. He wants to maintain the distance between his team and rangers and stay competitive in European competition.
“If they’re not supporting him and not trying to improve, what’s the point of staying there? That’s how he sees it, so he’s keeping his powder dry.
It will be interesting to see how managers develop in Forest over the coming weeks. Nuno is in charge for now, but that could change rapidly.
