West Ham United are locked in their latest summer signature and the deal has been agreed to be Monaco midfielder Soungoutou Magassa.
According to Santi Aouna, the Hammer has reached an agreement with the Ligue 1 club worth 17 million euros for a fixed fee, with an additional 3 million euros in performance-related add-ons.
The agreement also includes a 10% sale clause, ensuring that Monaco will benefit from future transfers of players.
West Ham United will sign soungoutou magassa
Magassa is considered one of France’s most promising young midfield talents, and the player is moved at the age of 21. His versatility is another major asset as he can operate in central defense if necessary.
Hammer already targets many new stars across Europe, and the addition of Magassa offers depth and competition in the midfield.
The players themselves are confident of West Ham’s project and the opportunity to play in the Premier League, and have already given approval for the move. Travel planning and medical care are currently scheduled and the movement is expected to be finalized once these procedures are completed.
Graham Potter wants to strengthen his team
Hammer started the season in a poor way, and is trying to address the team’s problems by making new signatures. With the transfer window closing less than a week left, hopefully Graham Potter’s side will make more movement in the coming days.
In the case of Monaco, the sale of Magassa offers sound economic returns to players developed within the system, while also keeping the door open for future profits through Sell-On clauses.
Meanwhile, for West Ham fans, the prospect of welcoming highly rated French talent adds excitement to the club and fans.
