The summer transfer window may have been closed earlier this week, but there is still a chance that Leicester will sign it.

Leicester has been looking at an immediate return to the Premier League following his relegation last season, with Brown Hill being considered the ideal player to help them achieve their goals. The 29-year-old was in an exceptional form during the success of Burnley’s 2024-25 campaign, earning 18 goals and six assists in 42 championship appearances.

Brown Hill ended his contract with Burley in July. That means he was a free agent for over two months. But soon, this is no longer the case.

According to TeamTalk (via 72), Brownhill plans to make a decision at his next club by the end of this week. He has attracted interest from Leicester, Southampton and Ipswich, but he has also made an offer to Al Shabaab’s table on the pro league side of Saudi Arabia, who can provide him with a vital financial package.

Like the aforementioned club, Brown Hill is attracting attention from the Premier League side, so even among the wolves, it could potentially reach the top English flight alongside former club Burnley. And if any of these teams are knocking on his door, it’s very difficult for Leicester to convince him to go to King Power Stadium.

For now, it is still unknown where Brown Hill will end. He has a long time to think about the right decision at this stage of his career, and Leicester could be what he decides. However, the supporters need to be patient as they wait for confirmation of his final decision.
