The US Open is once again shattering the record for the biggest prize pool in tennis history. The 2025 edition of the tournament earned a total of $90 million, up 20% from the 2024 tournament’s $75 million pool.

The $90 million figure opens the US ahead of the prize pools for the other three Grand Slam events.

The single winner will take home $5 million, and earn $1 million when they win a doubles team. Last year’s single winners Jannik Sinner and Aryna Sabalenka won $3.6 million for the victory.

Before the tournament began, Draftkings listed Sinner (+110) as a small favorite of Carlos Alcaraz (+185) on the male side, with Sabalenka (+250) and Iga Swiatek (+330) leading the women’s field.

The Cinner and Alcaraz are still alive on Friday, and rematched the French Open and Wimbledon finals in the semi-final match. Swiatek was eliminated by American Amanda Anisimova in the quarterfinals and after Swiatek ruled her by winning all the games when he met in the Wimbledon Finals, Anisimova managed to get revenge after Anisimova ruled her.

Anishimoba will face Sabalenka in the final on Saturday.

How much is the public payment in the US?

The winner of this year’s boys and girls singles will win a $5 million prize. Once you reach the semi-finals, you’ll be guaranteed a seven-figure payday at $1.26 million.

Simply reach the start of the tournament and your six-figure payday is $110,000. Anyone who moves to round 64 receives $154,000, with 32 participants receiving $237,000.

Let’s take a look at the total prize package for a singles tournament at the 2025 US Open.
