  • Spurred to return to Savinho
  • Spurs need a deep attack

Tottenham Hotspur was deeply connected to Manchester City attacker Savinho’s move during the summer transfer.

However, they never secured an agreement with the Premier League to sign the Brazilians. It will be interesting to see if players will be available in the January Transfer window.

Spurred to return to Savinho

According to Fitches, Tottenham was able to try and update interest in the player when the transfer window reopens. They are currently plotting the club record movements to sign players. They submitted an offer of around 80 million euros and were able to submit a bonus of 20 million euros. The package could reach around 100 million euros for players.

Daniel Levy recently left his post, and he has been criticized for his lack of ambition in the market. It will be interesting to see if his departure promotes a big money move for quality players.

Manchester City could be tempted to sell players if such an offer is filed. He is not an essential asset to them, and he is not a guaranteed starter. Manchester City will find it difficult to turn down such an offer to players.

Meanwhile, the Brazilian reportedly was keen on exit during the summer transfer period, and it is unlikely that he will miss out on the opportunity to join Tottenham in the near future. He rarely gets regular opportunities in Manchester City. He needs to play more frequently at this stage of his career.

The London Club can use more quality and depth on the sides, and South America will be a quality addition. He has been labelled “incredible” in the past by Pep Guardiola, and there is no doubt that he has the quality to establish himself as a top player for Tottenham.

He helps them improve in the future and add the unpredictability they need for an attack. The players were young enough to improve further, and were able to develop into elite attackers with proper guidance. Thomas Frank was successful in raising Brentford attackers and was able to play a role in the development of Savinho.
