Reports linking Leandro Trossard with a shocking move from Arsenal have been tightly closed, with transfer expert Fabrizio Romano making sure the Belgian winger will not leave the Emirate anytime soon.
More recently, speculation from Türkiye suggested that Besiktas is paying attention to the 29-year-old as a potentially high-profile signature for the Super Raig.
However, Romano reveals that Arsenal has not entertained his offer to Torosad and has no plans to sanction his departure.
Leandro Trossard is committed to Arsenal
This latest update follows from Trossard’s decision in August to commit to gunners for his long-term future.
The former Brighton forward has written a new contract extension, a clear signal of the club’s faith in his abilities and his importance to Mikel Arteta’s project.
The Belgian was limited to alternative roles this season, but he is still a key member of the team that provides attack depth and versatility.
There is no chance that Türkiye will move due to the Torosad
Romano stressed that there was “no chance” for the move to come true, despite reportedly exploring the possibility that Besiktas would be exploring the possibility of inviting him to Istanbul.
He posted to X:
“Arsenal has not planned an exit for Leandro Trossard despite links to the recent Besikutas movement.
“Trossard has already agreed to a new contract with the club in August and moved to Turkish Super Rig, and there is no chance that it will happen now.”
Despite the noise and rumors from overseas, the Belgians remain an integral part of the club’s plans as they promote silverware this season.
He is a player who can provide goals and creativity from a wide and central position.
