  • Parker wants more flexibility from Burnley
  • Burnley is aiming for Premier League champion Oklade Chamberlain

Burnley has joined other English clubs, noting the moves of free agents who have already scored for Turf Moor.

Parker wants more flexibility from Burnley

Clarett faces difficult tasks when he returns from an international break this weekend and will host Premier League Champion Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.

It promised to be a tough test for Burnley, and speaking before the game, Scott Parker discussed the need for his part to be more “flexible” in their approach.

“I think at a particular moment, what the game is asking for, what you have from the team, what it demands of you, actually trying to be practical. Of course, I’m… like we’re all sitting here, flowing freely, getting the load of goals, scoring, defending, and coaching.

“You need to understand the dynamics of what you have, and certainly the competition you’re standing up to and the best way to get the results. And that’s basically what I did last year. Of course, it was a different competition and it was flipped over in that there was extra quality at certain moments.”

Now Burnley is linked to the movements of the former Liverpool player as he is trying to provide a higher level of experience to his boss.

Burnley is aiming for Premier League champion Oklade Chamberlain

According to fresh claims from BootroomGraeme Bailey, Burnley, is an “alert” about Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s potential movements in free movement. The 32-year-old is no longer a Besiktas player, finishing his time in Turkey and his return to England was quickly on the card. Everton, Leeds United, Brentford and the Rangers are among the clubs of interest.

Oklade Chamberlen could be a wise addition for Burnley, bringing in Champions League and Premier League winners who have proved themselves to the highest level for much of his career, whether for Liverpool, Arsenal or the UK.

His versatility could be a true asset to Parker, allowing the British to shine deeper or attack their midfield roles.

At 32, Oxlade-Chamberlain isn’t younger, but as Jurgen Klopp has described him as “super” in the past, he still has plenty to offer if he can fit under the right manager.

He will certainly be hungry to prove himself back in England, and Burnley should pip some bigger clubs to his signature, which could be a real coup for them.
