According to TBR Football, Liverpool still expects an agreement with players. Richard Hughes is holding consultations with the player camp this week, and it will be interesting to see how things unfold.

Graeme Bailey said on TBR:

“The Conate camps claim they have not reached an agreement that they will join Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and others. They assert that this is not the case, but the closer we reach the New Year, the more he will sign.

“But let’s see how the talk progresses. Liverpool expects Conate to commit to fresh conditions.”

The defender is deeply connected to Real Madrid. They want to sign him a free transfer. Losing a player of his quality for free is a big blow to Liverpool. Premier League champions need to hug the best players if they want to win a major trophy.
