  • Leeds United were looking for a striker in January
  • Leeds star Isaac Schmidt is looking for a permanent exit on Elland Road

Leeds United went through a ton of moves during the summer transfer period, but now they can see another transaction happen sooner rather than slower.

Leeds United were looking for a striker in January

As Dominique Calvert Lewin and Lucas Nmeka arrive and Leeds settle into Premier League life, Daniel Fark support is offered from the middle, with all indications pointing to a new push in January’s firepower.

Talking to the football insider’s internal track, journalist Pete O’Rourke argues that if there’s a chance to fight to retain top flight status, the Whites should look for regular scorers.

“Obviously, they were in the market for offensive players until the deadline day, and Leeds have yet to score goals in open play in the Premier League in three games.

“Nmecha led the line in the first few games of the season, but Calver Trewin came in and did very well against Newcastle. If he can stay healthy, he can prove he is a real asset for Leeds United.

Norwich City striker Josh Sargent continues to link with Leeds with rumors that he is likely not approaching leaving soon, despite the fact that he is still unclear whether Canary is saying goodbye to US International.

However, in other news, Leeds may need a hopeful star to leave the club forever as they search for a new home in a variety of settings.

Leeds star Isaac Schmidt is looking for a permanent exit on Elland Road

With each build relayed to the Sports Witness, Leeds lender Isaac Schmidt revealed he wanted a permanent move to Helder Bremen, and he took the first step in hunting for a home before moving his next destination off Elland Road.

Last year, a deal worth £2.5 million from St. Gallen, and despite having a deal until 2028, Swiss International was Jaden Bogle’s second choice on right-back as it only made 14 appearances at Whites last year.

Schmidt appeared in the opening of Werder Bremen, attacking the final gasp equalizer in a 3-3 draw with Bayer Leberkusen, earning a FOTMOB match rating of 7.7/10 despite being featured only for 14 minutes.

Bundesliga’s outfit retains the option to buy a 25-year-old child for £2.5 million, with Schmidt expressing his openness to his stay.

“I’m looking for an apartment and want to settle here. I’ve just arrived, but my goal is to stay.”

With all parties on track, it’s only a matter of time before Schmidt becomes the permanent fixture for Weather Stadion.
