The 2025 NBA Draft is nine days. The team is ready for the drama to begin over the next week and a half. On Sunday, Desmond Bain was traded for four unprotected first-round picks and magic.

That’s not the only thing that will happen this offseason. Some teams reportedly want to trade up ahead of next week’s draft. NBA insider Grant Afseth reported that the Celtics, Net and Thunder were interested in the upswing. Which team is the most offensive than the June 25th NBA Draft?

Boston Celtics

Following the 2024 championship, the Celtics were unable to repeat in 2025. Boston advanced to the Eastern Conference semi-finals, losing six games to the Celtics. All-NBA PF Jayson Tatum is expected to shed Achilles’ tears and miss the majority, if not all, of the 2025-26 season. This offseason, almost all players except Tatum are in the chopping block.

The Celtics are in their 28th and 32nd picks in the 2025 NBA Draft. League Insider Grant Afseth reported that Boston is interested in the upward movement. He pointed out that the team did homework in PGS in this year’s class. This shows that Boston can say goodbye this offseason with Jrue Holiday, two-time NBA champion. We’ll see what Boston can do ahead of next week’s draft.

Brooklyn Net

One of the most offensive teams to participate in the 2025 NBA Draft is the net. Brooklyn has stockpiled draft capital, including four first-round picks in this year’s draft. They choose 8, 19, 26, and 27. The prediction is that Brooklyn wants to move somewhere in the top five. From 2024 to 2025, the net completed 26-56. The fourth record in the East.

This is a key offseason and draft for Brooklyn. Through the deal, they can move to the top five and choose players who change franchise. Pick number 8 could potentially land the net on a quality player for years to come. The insider suggests that teams can use a second-round pick combination in the first round to trade up for their second lottery pick in 2025.

Oklahoma City Thunder

The Oklahoma City Thunder is in a unique situation. They are tied 2-2 with the Indiana Pacers in the 2025 NBA Finals. Nevertheless, general manager Sam Presty is actively looking to improve his team. From 2025-25, 13 of the 15 players signed the Thunder to guarantee contracts. It leaves no room for wiggling for OKC. On top of that, they own the 15th and 24th picks in the 2025 NBA Draft.

Oklahoma City has a wealth of draft capital that can be used to potentially trade up in the 2025 draft. Some analysts suggest that they are more likely to trade from the first round. General Manager Sam Presty is ready for the Thunder to go this offseason. The team has won two titles since winning the 2025 NBA Finals.
