  • Chelsea agrees with Sirnn Spring
  • Chelsea race signing Jorthy Mokio

Chelsea, who is about to follow up on his recent contract to sign Emmanuel Emega in 2026, reportedly took part in a race to sign teenage gems ahead of his Premier League rivals.

Chelsea agrees with Sirnn Spring

Again, using Blueco’s ties with Strasbourg, another club they own, Chelsea officially announced a deal to sign Emegha. The talented striker will represent the fifth player to join the club in 2026 after another season in France and move to Chelsea or Strasbourg in the past 12 months.

Emegha’s pending arrival leads to questions once again about Nicolas Jackson’s future. The forward is currently on loan in Bayern Munich, and while the transaction is obligated to buy if certain conditions are met, Bayern Chief Urihone recently revealed that it is unlikely to reach these conditions.

He told reporters: “It’s not a loan fee of 16.5 million euros as the player and his agents contribute 3 million euros, so it leaves us with 13.5 million euros. And there’s definitely no permanent contract. That only happens if he plays 40 games from the start.

If that proves true, Chelsea has as many as four strikers at their disposal in 2026, and Jackson’s sales are still on the list of priorities. But that doesn’t mean that their spending is about to end.

The Blues are now focused on Enzo Maresca’s midfield and reportedly took part in the race to sign the teenage sense ahead of their Premier League rivals.

Chelsea race signing Jorthy Mokio

According to TeamTalk, Chelsea is currently racing to sign Jorthy Mokio from Ajax after sending a scout to see the 17-year-old midfielder. Compared to Declan Rice and former Stamford Bridge star Nagoro Kante, the Belgians certainly should be seen in the next 12 months. As always, Ajax helped develop an incredibly impressive talent after securing a signature from KAA Gent last summer.

Thanks to his extraordinary recovery ability and positioning during the transition, compared to TeamTalk’s Kante, Mokio was still able to follow Jorrel Hato’s path by swapping Ajax as a new star.

It is said to be called “fast and agile” and “intelligent” by U23 Scout Antonio Mango last May, but Mokio has since improved. Now, the midfielder who can be centre-back has a decision to decide, as some Premier League sides chase his signature.
