PSG Manager Luis Enrique won the Best Manager Award at Ballon D’OR 2025.

The Spanish manager led the French outfit to the league title, the UEFA Champions League, the Coupede France and the UEFA Super Cup.

After receiving the Men’s Coach of the Year award, Luis Enrique said, “It’s time to thank so many people. First of all, I would like to thank my family. It’s a special award for them as well. And I would like to thank everyone at Paris Saint-Germain.

“I would like to thank two very special people. The first President Nasser Al Keraifi has always looked after the team, and Louis Campos has always shared a special relationship.”

Luis Enrique deserves praise

The 55-year-old was undoubtedly the best manager in the world last year, and he deserves to win the award. Meanwhile, other managers like Arne Slot have also been nominated for prestigious awards. The Dutch manager had an astounding debut season in the Premier League, helping Liverpool win the title.

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca, Barcelona manager Hansi Frick and Napoli manager Antonio Conte were also nominated.

PSG was completely dominated in the French and UEFA Champions League. Apart from winning two trophies, they were exceptional in their performances, and they played a very attractive football brand, captivating fans and neutrals throughout the season.

Will Arne Slot win the award next year?

As for slots, he had an incredible debut season with Liverpool, but their poor show in the Champions League probably won him an award. Despite this, he had a memorable season with the Reds last time and is hoping to win a massive trophy this season as well. Liverpool was very active in the summer transfer market and they put together a scary team. They managed to break the club’s transfer record twice one summer.
