Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton has linked his move away from the club over the past few months.
The 21-year-old is one of the most talented young players in the Premier League and it’s no surprise that the top team is passionate about him.
Crystal Palace does not sell Adam Wharton
Liverpool and Real Madrid are interested in British midfielders and are ready to make a move for him in January.
However, a report by Fichajes claims that Crystal Palace revealed in January that he was an unruly option. It will be interesting to see if Liverpool and Real Madrid have decided to come back for him at the end of the season.
He is a promising young talent with a bright future and he has managed to grow into a top-class player.
Real Madrid and Liverpool can use Wharton
Liverpool needs more defensive quality in the midfield and he will be a major upgrade at Wataru End. They are overly dependent on Ryan Gravenbellch, defending their teams deeply and protecting them defensively. However, the Dutch International has demonstrated incredible technical capabilities, and he will be better exploited in a more relaxed role. Signing Crystal Palace stars will also help you unlock Dutch stars.
Similarly, Real Madrid needs a reliable midfield anchor. They lost Luka Modric and Toni Kruz in recent seasons. They were still unable to trade those players. It will be interesting to see if he can sign the 21-year-old Crystal Palace star next season.
Anyone who ends up signing him will have a future star in their hands. However, he has signed a contract with the London Club until 2029, which could cost a considerable amount. The Eagles are not pressured to sell and do not make it easier for him to leave.
