Manchester United legend Teddy Shellingham just told Leeds United’s rival to go and sign when the transfer window opened in January.

Leeds, Burnley and Sunderland all got off to a better start than anyone could have imagined, so Leeds, Burnley and Sunderland all went down. All three promoted aspects were fighting to end the tendency of the sides to crash straight into the championship, and after the final six teams did just that, pressure was underway. However, the record books show that each attempt has so far been more positive than previous clubs.
However, since all three clubs are not in glory, Leeds has already set their sights on the January transfer window. Daniel Fark repeats several times over the summer that his side is lacking in attacks, and solving that problem should be the 49ers’ top priority this winter.
Many names have already been mentioned on that front. A recent report has dropped something like Josh Sargent regarding potential targets. There is no doubt that Americans are ready to take a step forward in the Premier League.
Norwich City is struggling to get to under Liam Manning, but Sgt. has taken on the radar of the Premier League club with six goals in seven championship games.
Alas, Farke’s frontline isn’t the only place where the 49ers can concentrate in their winter windows. They’ll know how important it is to build on a strong start and safe survival when they first ask in the Premier League. As a result, the midfield foundations and potentially additional rival stars could prove all important.
Sheringham tells him to come to Leeds and get Mine.
Speaking to the Yorkshire Post, former Premier League striker and Man United legend Sheringham told Leeds to sign Cobby Mineau in 2026.
The Old Trafford midfielder wanted to lend the club in the summer, so white people reportedly were among stakeholders before United closed down potential exits for academy alumni. Now, after not seeing an increase in game time, Sheringham told Leeds that he should push him to sign Mineau when he gets the chance.
“Yes – no doubt. Even six months ago, he was an English set-up and people were raving about him. He can’t be such a bad player.
“He needs to get someone who loves how he plays. This game is all about opinions, and just because Amorim doesn’t fantasize about him doesn’t mean that (Daniel) Fark won’t make the most of him.
“You put your arms around him, tell him how good he is, work with someone in the middle that will hold him, and suddenly, you’ll get the player back in your hands. If Leeds can lend him that person, that’s definitely a plus point.”
It’s a question of whether people on Elland Road will receive Sheringham’s advice. It certainly isn’t a bad idea to welcome Mine’s caliber players fighting for an English place in the World Cup year.
