Manchester United is reportedly missing out on a potential relocation of Barcelona central midfielder Frenkiedejon.
The Netherlands International is a key player for Barca, but recently linked to Mann UTD in a report from the Football Insider, while another report from Fitchezés also claimed Bayern Munich was keen on him.
DeJohn could be an ideal signature for United due to current issues in the middle, but judging by the latest Fabrizio Romano update on players via X’s official account, that looks impossible.
For Romano’s post on De John approaching a new deal with Barcelona, see below…
“Barcelona will be locked up in a contract with Frenkiedejon over the New Deal until June 2029,” an Italian journalist wrote.
“There was an oral agreement, and the final formal details were sorted and then all signed with lawyers. The New Deal has already been approved by the club. @monfortcarlos I’ve reported it. ”
After Frenkie de John Blow, did Manchester United get to sign in midfield?
United have linked De Jung many times in recent years, making it difficult to maintain the count, so it would probably be wise for the club to move on to other targets.
Even if De Jung was one of the best in Europe at the time, there are other very decent options MUFC explore.
For example, as reported through daily briefings, I was told earlier today.
Movement for such a top young talent probably makes more sense to United than its previous models signing big names.
Using a similar example, Casemiro was a key player for Real Madrid, but he joined United when he was already on the hill, proving his disappointment in most cases.
De Jong could possibly pose a similar risk, so the Red Devils should be sure to focus on trying to find the next superstar in that position, such as Wharton, Yalmoliuk, Carlos Valleva, or someone else.
