Liverpool’s “Unsung Hero” is at risk becoming the new Chiesa in the slot

Liverpool is not right this season. Despite incredible summer spending that has soared more than what British football has seen before, Arne Slot’s side is struggling to regain the courage they had last season.

However, Liverpool completed an overwhelming start on the title defense and perch at the top of the table six games later, earning their first five losses before losing at Crystal Palace last weekend.

Many Redmen struggle to find their best form, but not all flatter them to deceive. Federico Chiesa has already seen a leaps and bounds over the rarely seen wingers last year.

Chiesa’s Liverpool revival

Liverpool barely beat the bank after replacing Jurgencrop with slots in the summer of 2024.

However, Chiesa arrived after being hit by injuries in Juventus in recent years, and he spent on the sidelines the lion’s share of the 2024/25 campaign, suffering from fitness issues or being overlooked in slots.

But this year he is looking to make up for the lost time. I already have two goals and two assists in every sport. He is very impressive that he wants to see the low-performing Mohamed Sarah dropping and that Chiesa begins from the right.

Data from the Transfer Market

The versatile Italian will play a key role throughout this semester, but another member of the slot team is falling deep into the team’s fringe and is beginning to look like the 27-year-old version last year.

While Chiesa enjoys the revival of Merseyside, Wataru Endo’s role in the club is becoming increasingly unfamiliar, and

The end, which Liverpool correspondent David Lynch described as Liverpool’s “unhonored hero,” helped pilot Klopp towards Crescendo, who won the trophy at Anfield’s Helm, achieved cult status last year by attacking the cult at Match’s dying Emerver.

The 32-year-old end, who joined for around £16 million from Stuttgart after Liverpool missed Moises Kayseko and Romeo Lavia, played a key role in bringing this current Liverpool team off the ground, but he was one year before the end of his contract and has not been used in place of past orders for the three top flights.

A persistent, hardworking and modeling expert, Endo remains a precious member of Slot’s Squad, but it’s hard to see him gaining so many opportunities.

Even when Gravenberch became himself last year and is now one of Liverpool’s most important players, and even when journalist Beth Lindop said “on par with Salah and Van Dijk,” Endo doesn’t seem to be getting a string of starts in the Premier League.

Stefan Bajcetic is also waiting on the wings, and is confident that he will receive the ball, pivot and move forward, so the role of the end fringe at Liverpool may become even more periphery as the years pass.

Chiesa’s bounceback over the opening week of the season serves as inspiration for footballers trying to pick themselves up from the roadside, but the ending is no longer a spring chicken, and his big moments with the slot team may end up behind him.
