Arsenal is reportedly interested in a potential transfer raid to Real Madrid against talented young defender Victor Valdepenas.

The 18-year-old can play centre-back or left-back, and Fabrizio Romano now claims he was someone who has been on Arsenal’s radar for a while.

Speaking to the Blazers man on YouTube, Romano appears to have been able to mention Arsenal’s interest in Valdepenas, but he also emphasized that Gunners would not be an easy deal to accomplish.

Roma Fabrizio on Arsenal’s right to transfer to Victor Valdiends

“Who can play the next talent at Arsenal?

“Arsenal has been keeping an eye on and keeping an eye on for several months. As he is a Real Madrid player, that’s not quite easy, but his name is Victor Valde Penas, and he’s also known as Valde.

“So he’s rather one of the Arsenal players. Again, he’s a Real Madrid player and I know how difficult it can be to sign a Real Madrid player.

“So that’s not easy, but certainly Arsenal has been tracking and monitoring this boy.”

Victor Valdepenas celebrates Real Madrid’s score at youth level

Arsenal has recently done well to assemble a team with a blend of youth and experience, so it makes sense to try and seduce Valdepena at some point.

The talented young Spaniard may find he gets more playing time at Arsenal than this star-studded Real Madrid team, so it will be interesting to see if they can keep him at the Bernabeu.
