  • Everton Player saved by Ndiaye and Grealish

Everton secured the campaign’s third Premier League victory this afternoon with a comeback victory over Crystal Palace at Hildickinson Stadium.

After Daniel Munoz advanced the visitors, Toffee scored the goal in the first half, but David Moet’s second half fight from the man secured a sensational victory.

Iliman Ndiaye took the penalty with less than 15 minutes left, and Jack Greelstalish bundled the house into stop time to secure all three points.

The result has earned a few points outside the top four in the Premier League, and given the impressive display in recent weeks, real buzz has emerged around Merseyside.

There cannot be denied that multiple players played a pivotal role in their victory over the Eagles.

Performance against the palace of Ndiaye & Grealish

As mentioned before, Ndiaye and Grealish were players who were able to find the back of Everton’s net. After that, the sides were able to claim the necessary victory.

Senegal International has made himself as comfortable as a fan, showing him another show he should be proud of for the Eagles over the past 12 months since his move.

In addition to his goals, he created two opportunities for his teammates and completed four passes in the final third.

He was not emotionally alone. Grail ultimately scored Toffee’s first goal after assisting multiple times following a loan move from Manchester City this summer.

The British completed two dribbles – most of all players on the pitch – fouled four times, and the opposition often couldn’t get close to 30 years old.

Such a performance shows just how impressive the Moyes aspect was to complete the turnaround, but failed to take advantage of the chance that one player handed him his way this afternoon.

Everton Player saved by Ndiaye and Grealish

Despite the impressive show of the aforementioned duo, many Everton players were unable to make a big impression on the contest with Oliver Glasner’s men.

Tyler Doubling was handed over his first Premier League start for Toffee today, but he couldn’t prove to his fanbase why the hierarchy stomped £40 million for his signature this summer.

The youngster was able to complete a total of six passes against the Eagles, but none of the three dribblings he attempted – highlighting the lack of impact on the attacking area.

But the addition of big money isn’t just an emotional failure, and striker Tiano Barry is also struggling to make the most of his unusual start at Hildickinson Stadium.

Like Diling, the 22-year-old was costing quite a penny this summer, and after appearing on Villarreal in Lariga during the 2024/25 campaign, he was charged in the £27 million area.

Today was his second start in the league since his transfer, but it looks like a false call from Moe, especially considering the lack of impact at Merseyside.

He was introduced for the first half before being replaced by BETO on a break, but his withdrawal was understood after achieving a total of 18 touches.

His subsequent tally was lower than goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, with the shotstopper totaling 48.

Barry was also able to register four passes with just 50% completion rate, but he also missed a big opportunity in the process. I forgot about the amulet this afternoon.

As a result of his show, Barry was handed over a rating for just 4/10 match by journalist Jack Dawson, closing out what was the forward’s miserable outing.

As a result, Moyes will need to drop the Frenchman after an international break in order for Beto to regain his first role at the top edge of the pitch.

There cannot be denied that Ndiaye and Grealish saved the forward in his poor show.
