Man United will likely be extremely busy in the transfer market throughout 2026, with players likely to come in and leave.

Maguire, who joined Man United in 2019, has made life difficult after a £80 million move from Leicester, but in recent years he has been a very reliable performer. However, he has lost his name under Reuben Amorim. Reuben Amorim wants to rely on Mattigis de Liguto, Rennie Yoro and Luke Shaw.

And given that Maguire has less than a year left on his current contract, there’s all the chances of him leaving Man United in 2026.

According to the mirror, Maguire has attracted attention for a strong transfer from Saudi clubs Al-Nassr and Al-Ettifaq, and the move to the former will see him reuniting with former man United teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.

Maguire will be able to hold consultations with interested clubs starting January 1st, provided that they do not sign a new Man United contract by this date. The option to travel to Saudi Arabia may be appealing to the English defender as it represents his final chance of winning a major payday before his playing career ends.

It remains to be seen whether Maguire will leave Man United next summer. It could depend heavily on whether the club is trying to sign a new central defender. However, there may be hope given to Amorim, who cherishes her 32-year-old.
