Chelsea are reportedly interested in Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson.
The 23-year-old has had an exceptional run since joining Nottingham Forest and is currently one of the most promising young players in the league.
Chelsea are not the only club keen on him, but he will face competition from Manchester City. According to Ficajes, Chelsea are interested in signing the England midfielder, while Manchester City are already planning a £75m transfer fee for him.
Manchester United are also said to be interested in Anderson.
Elliott Anderson has been great this season.
The player has impressed for club and country and has recently been labeled a ‘cheat code’ due to his consistent performances.
There is no doubt that he has the quality to play for the biggest club in the world and could be an asset for Chelsea. The Blues currently lack a quality player to replace Moises Caicedo, and Anderson would add defensive cover and physicality to the side. He could help tighten up Chelsea’s backline alongside Enzo Fernandes and Caicedo.
Can Chelsea sign Anderson?
It will be interesting to see if Chelsea can get a deal done. He is likely to cost a lot of money and they will need to act quickly to beat their rivals in signing him. He is currently one of the best young players in the Premier League and signing him would be a solid investment in the future.
Chelsea are looking to build a team for the future and are aiming to win big trophies. They need to sign a talented young player like Anderson. A move to one of the biggest clubs in the country would be a big step up for the player. He will fight for big trophies and aim for further development.
