Leeds United midfielder Tanaka Ao may miss the next Premier League game against Brighton.

Coach Daniel Farke has a fully equipped squad for the next game, but Tanaka could be dropped due to his mediocre performance.

The midfielder recently admitted he is still adjusting to the demands of Premier League football and is hoping to improve his form in the coming weeks. Tanaka recently returned from injury.

Leeds United manager Daniel Farke has praised the midfielder’s awareness and believes the Japan international is determined to improve.

Daniel Falke talks about Ao Tanaka

“I like it when someone is humble and self-critical and has very high demands on themselves. There’s no reason to be too self-critical. Ao has been great for us. Of course, it’s the first time in his career that he’s playing in the top flight, so he has to prove himself there. For example, he had a great pre-season and got off to a great start against Everton.”

“Sadly, you can’t blame anyone for the injury, especially him. When you’re out for a few weeks, it’s not like your first game back playing against an opponent off the park. “It was certainly a solid performance against West Ham. “I didn’t expect him to be man of the match, but I think he was very solid and played a dominating role. You will feel a little tired after 60 minutes, but that is normal. ”

It remains to be seen whether the Leeds manager decides to keep the player out of action for a short period of time.

Anton Stach could be given a starting place in his place against Brighton. Leeds have had a disappointing start to the season but will be desperate to bounce back strongly. They won’t want to go back to the Championship at the end of the season. They aim to establish themselves as Premier League regulars and need to improve their performance level.

Leeds currently sit 15th in the league with just 11 points after nine games.

Coach Falke will have to be ruthless in his team selection to bring out the best in his players.
Meanwhile, Tanaka plans to improve his performance in training and convince his coach to give him regular chances in the future.
