Liverpool unlikely to sign Premier League star ‘in the near future’

Liverpool spent big in the summer, but the season so far shows Arne Slott’s side still need plenty of reinforcements. One of them is the right winger, who will compete with Mohamed Salah, who has performed below average in recent months.

One player who is attracting attention is Jarrod Bowen, who Tottenham are also interested in signing. The West Ham captain could leave if the team is relegated at the end of the season, but as long as they remain in the Premier League it is highly unlikely that he will leave.

This was confirmed by Pete O’Rourke (via Football Insider), who confirmed that West Ham will not allow Bowen to leave, at least not until January.

“I don’t think he will be sold in the near future. We need Jarrod Bowen to help us stay in the Premier League, so there is absolutely no chance of him moving in January. He is the club’s captain, their talisman and has been their top scorer for the last four years, so he definitely won’t be sold in January.”

“Things could change in some way, but we don’t know. If West Ham suffer relegation, there might be a possibility that Jarrod Bowen could move on. But whenever there’s been speculation about Bowen, he seems happy with life at West Ham.”

Given his status and emotional ties to the club, it makes a lot of sense for Bowen to be happy at West Ham. Liverpool, or any other club, will find it difficult to convince him to leave, whether it’s in 2026 or even further down the road.
